Isabella Thoburn College (Professional Studies) organized an industrial visit to Veeta Day, Lucknow, for students of BBA, BTech, and MBA. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the food manufacturing industry and enhance their understanding of production processes. A total of 43 students registered for this educational trip, which offered them an opportunity to observe and learn about the industrial production of rusk and biscuits.Upon arrival at Veeta Day, the students were welcomed by the company officials and given an overview of the company’s operations. The visit began with an interactive session conducted by the General Manager, who explained the step-by-step process involved in manufacturing rusk and biscuits. Students learned about the selection of raw materials, mixing, baking, quality control, and packaging.

A total of 47 students eagerly registered for this insightfull educational trip, all excited to gain firsthand knowledge and practical experience in the field of dairy products. The students of ITCPS, were given a chance to visit CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Lucknow) to explore and learn about the advanced research and technology used in the field of toxicology. During the visit at IITR, the students observed various research processes and gained insights into the working of highly advanced machines such as scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope and 3D bioprinter with demonstration by working professionals.

The excursion trip to Sigri, Nainital, and Jim Corbett was an unforgettable journey filled with breathtaking landscapes and thrilling adventures. Beginning in Sigri, nestled amidst the picturesque hills, the students and faculty of Isabella Thoburn College (Professional Studies), Lucknow embarked on serene nature walks, immersing ourselves in the tranquil beauty of the surroundings. As we journeyed to Nainital, the shimmering lakes and lush forests captivated our senses, offering opportunities for boating and exploration of the charming hill town. The highlight of our trip was the exhilarating safari in Jim Corbett National Park, where we encountered majestic wildlife in their natural habitat, including the elusive Bengal tiger. Guided by experienced naturalists, we marveled at the diverse flora and fauna, gaining a newfound appreciation for conservation efforts. Each destination left an indelible mark on our hearts, igniting a sense of wonder and reverence for the natural world, and fostering cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
