Awareness session on Securities Market

On 6th February 2026, a seminar on securities market awareness was held in the Seminar Hall by Isabella Thoburn College (Professional Studies) in collaboration with Securities and Exchange Board of India and National Stock Exchange. The session began with a devotion, followed by a welcome address highlighting the importance of financial independence. Experts explained the basics of the Indian stock market, primary and secondary markets, and SEBI’s regulatory role. Students learned about Demat accounts, mutual funds, and how to avoid fraud. The key message encouraged careful and informed investing for financial security.
