Applications are invited from eligible girl students for the AICTE Saraswati Scholarship Scheme 2025–26. Eligible students are advised to apply at the earliest as the online application portal is expected to close soon. This scheme was launched by AICTE to promote higher education among girl students, aiming to empower women through quality professional and technical education.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must fulfill all the following conditions:
- Must be a girl student.
- Must be admitted to the First Year of a BBA, BCA, or BMS Degree Programme during Academic Year 2025–26.
- The institution must be AICTE-approved.
- A maximum of two girl children per family are eligible.
- Annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8,00,000 during the current financial year.
- A valid Income Certificate issued by the competent State/UT Government authority must be submitted.
- The gap between passing the qualifying examination and admission should not exceed two years.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Scholarship amount: ₹25,000 per annum.
- Available for every year of study, subject to renewal conditions.
- Maximum duration: 3 years.
- Scholarship amount may be utilized for payment of college fees, purchase of computer/laptop, books and stationery, and software and educational equipment.
- No separate provision for hostel expenses, medical expenses, or any other allowances.
- 3,110 scholarships are available annually across India, allotted State/UT-wise as per AICTE guidelines.
Selection & Renewal:
- Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent).
- In case of a tie, a higher percentage in Class 10 will be considered. If the tie still persists, preference will be given to the older candidate.
- Scholarship is renewable for subsequent academic years.
- Renewal is subject to successful promotion to the next academic year and submission of a Promotion Certificate certified by the Head of the Institution through the online portal.
- Students who fail to secure promotion to the next academic year will forfeit the scholarship.

Samaj Kalyan scholarships are state-level financial aid programs for students from economically weaker and marginalized backgrounds. Eligibility requires being a state domicile, belonging to SC, ST, OBC, or EWS categories, and meeting specific family income limits.
General Eligibility Framework:
- Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of the state issuing the scholarship.
- Category: You must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), or Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
- Academic Level: Students enrolled in pre-matric (Classes 1–10) or post-matric courses (Classes 11, 12, UG, PG, diploma, and professional degrees) are eligible.
- Attendance: Many states require you to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in your institution.
- No Double Benefits: You cannot receive benefits from any other state or central scholarship scheme simultaneously.
