We believe that with character so moulded, the Isabella Thoburn Intermediate College student may be entrusted to carry through efficiently, courageously, and faithfully any task she undertakes.

Indeed this College is only an accumulation of gifts from all the personalities who have touched it through the years. As an individual entering Isabella Thoburn Intermediate College, you can enrich the College with the talents you bring. Perhaps they will be a fine mind, a beautiful voice, an outstanding dramatic ability, creative talent in writing, or prowess on the sports field. We welcome all these students. But there are greater gifts than mental and physical abilities, "Fruit of the Holy Spirit" as St. Paul called them, “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self-control". A loving, co-operative spirit of openness is what we wish for you as you receive your education at Isabella Thoburn Intermediate College.

Since one of our primary aims is to impart learning, for which we require wide collateral reading and many assignments.

We try to inspire a hunger for learning not only for Pass Certificate but to enhance gifts of intellect and personality development.

• The Open Book: Represents the Holy Bible and learning.
• The Dove: Christian symbol of the Holy Spirit, also represents Peace.
