Admission Procedure

For Class 6th to 10th:

The College Prospectus and the Application form are available from the Isabella Thoburn Intermediate College Office on payment of Rs. 600/- [Rs. Six Hundred Only] & for Postal Dispatch Rs. 750/- [Rs. Seven Hundred Fifty Only] for Out-Station Students.

Payments are accepted in Cash/Bank draft in favour of “I.T. College Society Intermediate A/c” Account No. “90280100006229” payable at Lucknow.

  • A. All the columns of the application form should be duly filled by the Student.
  • B. The candidates are required to submit the following documents along with the application form:
    • Report Card of Last Attended Class. (Photocopy Attested)
    • Transfer Certificate (T.C.) & Character Certificate (C.C.). (Original)
    • Birth Certificate from Nagar Nigam. (Photocopy Attested)
    • Aadhaar Card. (Photocopy Attested)
    • Two Photographs of the Student.
    • Caste Certificate (if S.C., S.T. & O.B.C.] of the Student. (Photocopy Attested)
    • Baptism Certificate, Only for Christian Students. (Photocopy Attested)
    • Recommendation letter from the Pastor for Christian Student. (Original)
    • Certificate of Co-curricular Activities. (Photocopy Attested)
    • Blood group Report. (Original)
    • Aadhar and PAN Card of the Parent. (Photocopy Attested)
    • “The Parents/Guardians are required to submit an affidavit mentioning that the College fee will be paid on time”.
  • C. The candidate will be given provisional admission till the Report Card of the last attended class is produced.
  • D. The falsification of the above attached documents will lead to the cancellation of admission.
  • E. The college will not be held responsible for disqualification of candidature for any reason by the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.

For Class 11th and 12th:

  • A. All the columns of the application form should be duly filled by the Student.
  • B. Before submitting the application form the Candidate must submit:
    • Self attested two Photostat copy of High School Mark-sheet.
    • Self attested two Photostat copy of High School Pass-certificate.
    • Self attested Photocopy of Aadhar.
    • Self attested photocopy of class X and XI Home Examination. (Annual Examination, Pre-Board Examination) for Provisional Admission.
    • Self attested Photocopy of Class X Admit-card.
    • Original Transfer Certificate (T.C.).
    • Original Character Certificate (C.C.) of the Last School Attended. (Class X)
    • Self attested Photocopy of Caste Certificate. [if applicable]
    • Original Migration Certificate. (If applicable) If student is from ICSE, CBSE or other State Boards.
    • Self attested Baptism and Church Membership Certificate. [Only for Christian Candidate]
    • Blood group Report. (Original)
    • Aadhar and PAN Card of the Parent. (Photocopy Attested)
    • “The Parents/Guardians are required to submit an affidavit mentioning that the College fee will be paid on time”.
  • C. A Passport size Photograph of the Candidate, Parents or Guardian to be pasted on the application admission form as per place provided.
  • D. Any admission done or candidates selected for admission by an inadvertent or over sight or on the basis of wrong or incomplete information supplied by the candidate, shall be cancelled at any time and the candidates shall have no claim in such case.
  • E. The Admission is completed when the student pays the full fees.
  • The college will not be held responsible for disqualification of candidature for any reason by the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.

College Fees

For Class 6th to 10th:

  • A. Admission fee to be paid by the newly admitted students along with the first quarter of the College Annual Fee.
  • B. The College Annual Fee must be deposited quarterly in cash at UCO Bank, 9-A Nirala Nagar, Raidas Mandir Crossing, Lucknow through Isabella Thoburn Intermediate Office.
  • C. A Late fee of Rs. 50/- per day will be charged if the fee is not paid on the due date.
  • D. It is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to see that all fees of the college is paid on time. “The Parents/Guardians are required to submit an affidavit mentioning that the College fee will be paid on time”.

For Class 11th and 12th:

  • A. One time College Fees and the S.G.A. fee in Cash must be deposited at UCO Bank, 9-A Nirala Nagar, Raidas Mandir Crossing, Lucknow through Isabella Thoburn Intermediate Office.
  • B. Students must preserve all Bank Receipts.
  • C. Each Candidate must submit “No Dues Form” before appearing for their Class XI Final Examination and Class XII Pre-Board Examination.
  • D. The Board Examination form will not be forwarded unless; the student has cleared all dues related to the College Fees.
  • E. It is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to see that all fees of the college is paid on time. “The Parents/Guardians are required to submit an affidavit mentioning that the College fee will be paid on time”.
  • F. Fee once paid is neither refundable nor transferable.
  • G. College Fee and Hostel Fee is subjected to revision at any time.
  • H. Expense for all Co-curricular Activities and Additional Facilities provided by the College are chargeable and participation in all Activities is compulsory.
  • I. No fee is to be deposited with any member of the Office or College Staff.
  • J. Refund of Security Money, Caution Money is to be made after final Board Examination including Board-Practical Examination, after deduction for loss of Book, Breaking of Apparatus, misusing and damaging of College Property etc.
  • K. Refund of the security money will be done on producing original copy of bank deposit fee slip with an Application.
  • L. Unclaimed Security and Caution money will automatically lapse after three years.
  • M. Transfer Certificate (T.C.) and Character Certificate (C.C.) charge Rs. 110/- for outgoing students.
  • N. A Late fee of Rs. 50/- per day will be charged if the fee is not paid on the due date.

Rules and Regulations

  • A. Students are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the College.
  • B. Admission of Candidate will stand cancelled if she fails to attend classes within the first ten days from the date of beginning of the classes.
  • C. Students are required to attend classes regularly. As per College rules, a student must have minimum of 75% attendance in each class/subjects.
  • D. Classes are regularly held along with all the college activities.
  • E. In case of absence, students are required to submit an application duly signed by Parents/Guardian. In case of absence owing to illness, student must submit an application with Medical Certificate with the Principal.
  • F. College timings 7:45 am to 1:35 pm.
  • G. Day scholars who have to leave college campus before 1:35 p.m. can do so only by obtaining permission in writing from the Principal. Student shall only be permitted to leave the college campus with their parents/guardians by showing their gate pass.
  • H. No furniture is to be removed from the class room.
  • I. Silence is to be maintained in the corridors and classrooms during class hours.
  • J. Moral Science classes are compulsory.
  • K. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to the college.
  • L. No Jewellery to be worn except a Watch and no Makeup of any kind is to be used. Nails are to be kept short.
  • M. Students are not allowed to bring any other article without permission.
  • N. Registration formalities need to be completed within days specified.
  • O. "RAGGING IS A LEGAL OFFENCE ANY STUDENT REPORTED BEING INVOLVED IN OR WITNESS TO RAGGING WILL IMMEDIATELY EXPELLED FROM THE COLLEGE AND HOSTEL."
  • P. Parents/Guardians are expected to co-operate with the Authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline.
  • Q. The students are required to participate in all the college activities.

Withdrawal Rules and Regulations

  • A. Parents/Guardians of student should submit an application to the Principal with the reasons and supporting documents of their intention to withdraw their ward from the college well in advance.
  • B. Student must get “No Dues” clearance from Accounts Office (College Fee & S.G.A. Fee), each Subject Teacher and Unit of the College.
  • C. In case of Withdrawal from the College, fee will not be refunded and no exception will be made.

Non-Compliance of Rules

The College and College Authorities will not be responsible for any Loss owing to non-compliance of Rules. Students should preserve all fee receipts and duly signed report cards which will be required for getting the Examination Admit Card, No dues certificate and for confirmation of their payment of fees.
