LUSH GREEN CAMPUS
Isabella Thoburn College has a Lush green campus of, hundreds of trees some of them rare providing shade to humans and shelter to birds and animals. It also has well maintained lawns and gardens. The Century old tradition of celebrating Arbour day in which students and staff plant saplings and take care of them, throughout the year. The College Encourages maximum students to use public transport. There are Pedestrian friendly brick paved roads all along boundary walls and leading from one building to another. Another green initiative by the College is the Green House maintained by the Botany Department. The Vermi Composting Unit maintained by the Bio-Technology Department provides manure for the flora on the campus. The Biotech Society takes organises awareness campaigns from time to time to promote clean and green environment.
