Isabella Thoburn College Society established Isabella Thoburn College (Professional Studies) in Lucknow in 2017, with the objective of providing women access to Management Education within a framework that upholds ethical principles. The Isabella Thoburn Degree College, the oldest women's college in Asia having a history of 138 years which is the Parent Intitution and is is also administered by the Isabella Thoburn College Society.

The inaugural batch began with 22 students, who majored in Human Resources, Marketing, International Business, Information Technology, Operations and Finance. With access to smart seminars and a well-stocked library. The college has always supported student’s academic success. Additionally, the combination of summer and winter internships, along with industrial excursions, has provided students with valuable real-world exposure.

To support holistic learning of students, college has been encouraging and organising for students to participate in community activities that promote education and sanitation awareness among the underprivileged. Environmental initiatives, such as tree planting projects, help students appreciate their role in the natural ecology and help to imprint in then the understanding to prevent and respect the environment. And now the college is also proud to offer Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs alongside the Management Program. The BTech curriculum, with specializations in computer science, computer science and information technology, artificial intelligence and data science, and bioinformatics, is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals.The BBA curriculum equips students with essential business knowledge for success in various corporate professions. Both programs are tailored to prepare students with the skills required to meet the demands of the modern world.
