Chapel Worship Service
Value based education plays an important role in strengthening the spiritual behavior of an individual. Given a value based education system, it is important to incorporate religious studies in order to guide students towards the importance of being spiritual because it plays a substantial role in shaping the moral behavior of individuals as well as the manner in which they relate with others in the society. A spiritual person is normally associated with good qualities in life such as love, honesty, and humility among others. The Chapel Worship services are held every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, in the college chapel Clotilda Lyon Mc Dowell, which are open to students, staff and all employees of the college. Thursday and Friday chapel services are held in the auditorium. The messages that were preached in chapel service were great Biblical truths that were applicable to real life as well. Chapel service meditations are usually based on basic values of life like honesty, loyalty, respect, self-reliance, self-discipline, patience, kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, personal responsibility and courtesy. These worship services play an important role in fulfilling and upholding the values of the College and these values help in developing a strongand upright character among the students.
