Arbour Day Celebration

Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow. Celebrated Arbour Day on 9th August 2024 at College campus. It began with a worship service in the auditorium. It is a 112 year old tradition of the college. Worship service was attended by Officiating Principal Prof. Panzy Singh and all the faculty members and students of the college. Prof. P.Singh told about the importance of plants in our daily lives and also encouraged the students to take care and look after the nature and protect it for the future generation.
College malis were honoured with bouquet of flowers for their hard work which they do through out the year to maintain the greenery of the campus.
Arbour day committee constituted Dr. Rajeshwari Mishra, Dr. Rajesh Srivastava, DA. Sonia Saini, Dr. Saman Raza, Dr. Deepmala, Dr. Saumil Sharma and Dr. Armeen Siddiqui.
A “Shaheed Smriti Vatika ” was also planted on completion of centenary of Kakori Train Action on 9th August.
