UCO Bank organized an Extempore on 5th Feb 24
Isabella Thoburn College in collaboration with UCO Bank organized an Extempore competition for the students on the Topic “Financial Awareness and Women Empowerment” the reason being that Extempore speaking is crucial in financial awareness and women empowerment, allowing individuals, especially women, to spontaneously express their understanding of economic concepts. This skill is essential in financial literacy programs, enabling confident articulation of financial goals. It facilitates prompt responses to economic queries, fostering a deeper comprehension of personal finance. In professional contexts, particularly job interviews and business meetings, extemporaneous communication becomes a valuable asset for women seeking career advancement. Additionally, it contributes to inclusivity and gender equality by empowering women to actively participate in financial discussions and challenge stereotypes. This skill serves as a powerful tool for advocating women’s financial rights and addressing issues such as wage gaps and financial planning, fostering a more empowered and informed society.
