Industrial Visit to Veeta Day, Lucknow
On February 3, 2025, Isabella Thoburn College (Professional Studies) organized an industrial visit to Veeta Day, Lucknow, for students of BBA, BTech, and MBA. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the food manufacturing industry and enhance their understanding of production processes. A total of 43 students registered for this educational trip, which offered them an opportunity to observe and learn about the industrial production of rusk and biscuits.Upon arrival at Veeta Day, the students were welcomed by the company officials and given an overview of the company’s operations. The visit began with an interactive session conducted by the General Manager, who explained the step-by-step process involved in manufacturing rusk and biscuits. Students learned about the selection of raw materials, mixing, baking, quality control, and packaging.
