The CIMAP (Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants) farmers’ visit was an enlightening experience, for the students and faculty of Isabella Thoburn College (Professional Studies), Lucknow fostering a deep appreciation for the importance of medicinal and aromatic plants in agriculture. Set amidst lush greenery and fragrant gardens, the visit provided a firsthand glimpse into the cultivation, processing, and utilization of a diverse range of botanical treasures. Farmers were guided through the institute’s research facilities, where they learned about innovative farming techniques, sustainable practices, and the latest advancements in herbal medicine production. Engaging seminars and interactive workshops offered valuable insights into crop management, soil health, and market opportunities, empowering farmers with knowledge and resources to enhance their agricultural practices.
