A thought-provoking debate was conducted on 2nd May 2025 on the topic “Has Technology Made People More Disconnected?”. The event aimed to spark meaningful dialogue around the impact of modern technology on human relationships, communication, and social behaviour.

4 groups are made:- (2 for the motion & 2 against the motion)

Participants:

The debate featured two teams:

• Affirmative Side (For the Motion): Argued that technology has led to emotional isolation, reduced face-to-face interactions, and a decline in deep, meaningful relationships.
• Opposition Side (Against the Motion): Argued that technology has brought people closer across distances, improved communication, and fostered global connectivity

Conclusion:

The debate served as an eye-opener, encouraging participants and the audience to reflect on how they use technology in their daily lives. It concluded with a reminder that technology is a tool—its impact depends on how it is used.
