Principal’s Message

Knowledge is Power…. That is the only weapon with which the young women of today can challenge the future.
In this fast moving and faster developing world, a simple question confronts the young women of Isabella Thoburn Intermediate College in the course of their studies; how should they shape their future which will be beneficial for the society and country, this question becomes a quest, the quest leads to a never ending discovery.

Sometimes society fails to underline women’s essential role as a transmitter of life and as an ambassador of culture.Look up to the motto of our college …We Receive to Give…Hence bear in mind that what knowledge you acquire here, is just the beginning and foundation of how to shape your future and reach out to others who have not been as fortunate as you, yourself.

There are many social evils in the society that women face each day and our students are taught to step out from their shell and encounter the same to beset the society of today.
Once atrocities are revealed it becomes your duty to help the victims. This help may take the shape of a campaign to fight social evils or join others who are already engaged in ensuring that the Indian Women are truly free and an independent Indian citizen who can deliver on the assurance it has enshrined in its constitution.

You have your education, your values, and your college ideals so live by them and for them. To dream the Impossible’ should not be a passive exercise … act on your vision to reach out to the dawn you have been yearning to see on the horizon.
Students of Isabella Thoburn Intermediate college you are the salt of the earth, you are the light that removes the shroud of darkness that envelops the world. You, are the treasure and hope of the nation …..Empower yourself and reach out to shape a brilliant future.
Trust God, He is your strength and will guide you continuously with your vision to become a woman of substance.
It is written in the scriptures, 2 Corinthians 12:10 “For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weakness , insults, hardship Persecution and calamities, for when I am weak then I am strong.”
