Career Counselling and Placement Cell
The Career Counselling and placement Cell functions with the primary objective of
- providing the much needed life skills to the students
- update them about various Career options available
- Help them to find job placements
To keep pace with the present stiff competition, Interactive sessions and workshops are conducted to chisel their soft skills. This year a workshop on Quantitative Aptitude was conducted on 6th November”17 and a workshop on Logical reasoning was held on 10thNovember”17.The student Government association cabinet members were sent to participate in the annual leadership summit organised by the Industry Interaction cell of IIM Lucknow .
Students are prepared for placements with mock interviews, group discussions and sessions on resume building. A Psychometric test with interactive individual evaluation was conducted on 1st November,17
Interactive sessions on Best Career options followed by an aptitude test were conducted for second and Third year students on 2nd August’17 and for the First year students on 21st September’17.
To improve the employability of our students-Foreign Language Certificate Courses of Six month duration are run by the cell. This year spoken English, French and Spanish courses have been offered to the students.
At the end of the session, placement drives are conducted to help the students find Job placements.
Thus the Career Counselling Placement Cell has constantly been making an endeavour to empower students to achieve professional land personal success in dynamic carriers in a diverse global society by providing a comprehensive and supportive educational experience and lifelong learning.
