About Us

The purpose of Isabella Thoburn College is to provide higher education, primarily to Christian women, which will include the imparting of sound learning, the building of character and the knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, to present to these young women the message of Jesus Christ through regular Bible study, Christian testimony and example, witness and worship in accordance with Christian belief and doctrines and to extend the facilities and opportunities to young women of other faiths and communities who voluntarily wish to receive education in Christian environment.

  • The College and its MBA Students organized a fifteen-day campaign under the banner of (Swachta Pakhwada) as suggested by AKTU and AICTE. This program mainly emphasized on the issues related to cleanliness and hygiene. In these 15 days, the students focused on spreading awareness among the people about environmental protection, health and hygiene in nearby surroundings, public areas, work environment, schools, hospitals and orphanages.   • Student Orientation Program is mandatory for all the students entering Isabella Thoburn College (Professional Studies). The two days program includes a series of extended events that provides an introduction to the stimulating intellectual and social environment at the College, as well as the abundant resources available at College. One of the primary goals of Orientation is to help students navigate the College environment.

  • The College Celebrated Arbour Day on 18th August 2017. The celebration educates the student about importance of trees with a view of maintaining a healthy environment. The students & staff planted trees on the Campus.

  • The 70th Independence Day was celebrated by the staff/students & Karamcharis of the College. The Director hosted the flag & refreshment was served to all present.
